Sleep for Cyclists (Introduction)
Can't sleep? Sometimes it's normal. We all have occasional
difficulty sleeping.
Hard efforts, especially in the evening, may make it difficult to fall asleep.
Bicycle racers may have anxiety about their next day’s performance. Sleeping in
a strange hotel room also causes sleep difficulty for many.
By developing good sleep habits, as discussed below, you will increase your
chances for a good night’s sleep even the night before an important race.
